World War Two has many aspects and in the ZOOM workshop I cover
the major issues such as those below.
SAFTLY HANDELING REAL GAS MASKS
TAKING PART IN THE BLITZ
BUYING RATIONS WITH
IMPERIAL MONEY
You will learn about German bombs and there effects, then children will take to their air raid shelters (under their desks) during a Blitz attack.
The children learn the different gas mask types, their uses and how if feels to wear one.
You will learn about rationing and the old imperial money used for shopping.
TRAINING AN ARP WARDEN
A volunteer child will be trtained as an ARP Warden (they will need a loud voice).
